  • What is "microblading"?"
Microblading is also referred to as 3D eyebrows, microstroking, micropigmentation, eyebrow feathering, etc. Microblading is a process whereby a certified artist will use color pigment and a one-time use handheld pen with sterilized mini needles on the eyebrow area. Unlike tattooing, the microblading procedure will cause the pigment to be deposited into the epidermis layer, creating fine strokes and lines to give clients perfect and natural looking eyebrows. Microblading is considered semi-permanent make-up.
  • How long does microblading last?
It depends on clients' skin type and lifestyle. After the 1-month touch-up, the healed eyebrows will last anywhere between 1 to 3 years. Generally, dry skin will cause the pigment to stay longer than oily skin. Also, active lifestyle such as swimming and playing sports will cause the pigment to fade faster. How long it last is not guaranteed. We do recommend annual touch-up to maintain eyebrow shape and color.
  • Does microblading hurt?
After applying a numbing agent, it does not hurt at all. Many will experience no pain.
  • Will I get red eyebrows?
No, W.Brows Studio uses premium quality pigments that are compliant with The Council of Europe Resolution (CoE ResAP, 2008). Pigments will naturally fade over time, so yearly touch-up is recommended to keep your brows full, fresh and beautiful. To learn more about CoE ResAP 2008, please click read here.
  • Do you use disposable (single-use) materials for each client?
Yes, W.Brows Studio uses sterile and one-time use materials for each client. For example, the microblading pen is individually wrapped and sterilized by EO gas.
